Wiseass!! ;D Actually they just get in my way and distract me........only wear `em on the treadmill or eliptical. Tim. They make these new things now called Ipod's. They are so small that they wont distract you during your workouts. Maybe someday you could catch the horse and buggy into town and see if thy may have one or two laying around |

Randy, I think that Tim also referred to the fact that, besides the headphones, the music interferes with the mind + muscle link that he must accomplish when pumping iron. ;D

I have quite the arrangement on my mp3 player. ranges from classical, techno to all out thrash metal and everything in between. I reallly enjoy all types during my workout. That is AWESOME!!!  I love all types of music as well, as you could see from my list!  |

no headphones for me either. Only time i've had a complaint about the music was when one of the front desk guys broke up with his girlfriend.

Besides, I'm a big time LP fan, nothing sounds better than anolog played on a super high quality sytem.
Kinda hard to drag that around the gym.
