Thanks guys for sharing such a cool story. This is why I love this board so much. COol people everywhere Agree Steve, people here are fabulous... some have a disproportionate appetite but are fabulous! Mo, You re-energized Randy with the workout in Montreal. He's TORTURING all of his clients! Love the pictures, keep 'em coming. I'm glad to hear that... there's nothing like some INTENSITY But i hope he wont suggest his clients to eat some Poutine as postworkout meal as we did in Montreal! Hey Mo... I think maybe you should describe our back and traps workout....... Thanks a lot for posting the photos Randy... even if it was only 5 days ago, those already remind me some great memories! I truly had a great week end with Jen and You! And judging by the photo where my face is red as a tomato I completely remember why ours backs have been so sore this week Now, some details on the back workout!!! As you can see on the firsts pics, Randy, Fernand and I did some reverse grip (supination) pull down on the Atlantis machine! After a warm up, we both started by using 2 x 45lbs plus 1 x 35lbs on each side for a 10 to 14 reps range! At failure, we stopped for 12 secs, and pulled the weight again until failure (so approx 3 or 4 reps), did a last 12 secs rest pause and reached failure again! For our second set, we did the same patern with 3 x45 on each side (reps range before the first rest pause of approx 6 to 10). Third set... same thing with 3 x 45 plus 1 x 10 on each side (reps range of approx 4 to 8). And finally, we proceeded with 3 x 45 plus 1 x 25 on each side for 2 to 4 reps... did a drop set at 2 x 45 plus 1 x 25 on each side to failure... drop set again at 1 x 45 plus 1 x 25 on each side... failure again! Second excercise: Rowing at the T-Bar... before we even had started the first set, i was already exhausted... but not Randy... so while i was doing my sets with (3 x 45), (3 x 45 + 1 x 25) and ( 4 x 45) Randy was doing it for for approx the same amount of repetitions with ( 3 x 45 + 1 x 25), ( 4 x 45) and (4 x 45 + 1 x 25). Our last set was extremely brutal... we held the weight 4 seconds on the negative part and asked for a spot on the concentric part! We finised the back muscles on the seated row cable machine... some intense heavy rowing fallowed by rest pauses and 1/3 contraction repetitions at the end! Oooh we also did traps on the Hammer Strength machine... but i cant remember any details of it since i was too beaten!!!

This guy Fernand (pictured above) is no joke either. At 63 years of age, he was keeping up with us. Even sometimes bypassing us. What a MACHINE!!!
