Here is the list of athletes competing. My pic would be Dexter, but sometimes good athletes who have been competing for awhile get overlooked due to a newer look like Phil Heath's
But my dark horse is Toney Freeman.
2007 Arnold Lineup! (March 2 - 4, Columbus, Ohio) 14 competitors (01/07): Gustavo Badell Mark Dugdale Tony Freeman Marcus Haley Phillip Heath David Henry Dexter Jackson Victor Martinez Ronny Rockel Markus Ruhl Sergey Shelestov Vince Taylor Branch Warren Luke Wood

For Dexter, it would be a 3 peat which would equal Jay's wins in 2002-2004. Flex Wheeler has won the Arnold 4 times, but not consecutively.
I think Dexter had Victor beat in the O, but the judges did not agree. Dexter will be hard pressed but can do it. Phil and Toney are on a roll, and Branch wants to avenge his 2nd place to Dexter last year. Would personally like to see Mark Dugdale crack top 6 and qualify for the O.
This could well be the best and most contentous Arnold ever.

If Victor can match his look at the O, I think he takes it. He got sooo much crazy bodyparts its sick.
Def agree darkhorse is The Xecutioner Toney Freeman

I am going with Toney. If he was able to add a little to his lats since the O (very short amount of time, I know) he will be a huge potential.
I have been a fan of his for a long time and am really glad to see the big guy get some props.

I remember watching Toney Compete at the Nationals the year Demayo won. I remember thinking that this guy had the potential to be the next big superstar. I still think he does. His frame is perfect, he just needs to keep adding size. And the size isn't detracting from his lines.
But the other one to watch out for is Gustavo. Now I like Gustavo, but he has 2 or 3 poor showings as of recently and looks as if he is over competing in my opinion. However he is now hooking up with Hany Rambod, and that could mean we see a ripped Badell. If he brings in his conditioning better then ever, and streamlines his look, he (in my opinion) could take it.

So many quality guys- not sure but I'd say that Victor Martinez has a great shot! NOw of course I'd like to see Ronny Rockel FINALLY get fairly judged (see my avatar). I like Badell and would like to see him pull it together again after a few not so good shows. Luke Wood is a monster and I'd like to see him do well. Anyone here that particpates in some of the other boards would know what a quality, intelligent person he is.
NOW for who I REALLY would like to see clean up there is Branch Warren- not everyone is a fan of his look but I am- I'd like to see him outmass and condition everyone else there. Him 1st and Ronny 2nd.

Good point, Steve. Gustavo could be a factor if Hany can get him streamlined. If he can nail it like in the 04 Olympia, he could be very dangerous.
Toney has come a long way since he won the 02 Nationals and beat Mat DuVall. Sal has a good point about his lats.
Have to give Phil Heath a shot. Took a longer offseason than many of these and it should serve him well.
But another one who can't be ruhled out is Markus. He really bounced back from 05 with a sharp showing at the O, and this could be a great year for him.
It will hopefully come down to who looks best that day. Mark Dugdale will be in a position to take advantage of any mistakes the bigger guys might make. Also like Rockel and Henry, but I think they will have a better shot to qualify at Ironman or Sacramento.

This is definitively one of the best line up i have seen in a long time. If almost everyone in the list shows up… and if the judges forget about politics (and IMO they usually do a good job at the Arnold) we are up for a very, very good show... too bad it's not on PPV anymore here in Montreal Here are my top 6 guys: Heath, Martinez, Jackson, Freeman, Warren and Badell (hope Dugdale)

It's a longshot but I might be going. Depends on work- I'm trying to get a new job and in that cast it's doable.

Dexter has the track record at the Arnold. Heath has the hype of Rookie of the year, and two consecutive show wins. Victor has a lot of hype, but often lacks the condition he needs from show to show. This could be a good show, and like Tim said, tough to call!!!
