Pete, the guy that coached me for my show back in '03, called me the other night. Seems he uses my before and after pics on his personal training flyer. So the other day he distributed some at some homes, and he gets a call that night from a guy
"Physiques Personal Training, Pete speaking"
"Pete! How's it going"
"Hey, pretty good man. Who is this?"
"It's the guy in the picture!"
(now Pete thinks it's me, but it doesn't sound like me, so he's confused, and plays it cool)
"Hey buddy, how's it going?"
"Great! I'm the guy in the picture!"
"What?"
"That's me! I want to be the guy in the picture! Make me the guy in the picture!"
LMAO. Pete signed him up for $1000 worth of consulting and training over the phone, but only after he made sure the guy understood that he won't look like the guy in the picture, since that was a different guy.
But hey. I can't help but feel a bit of pride. Some schmuck wants to look like me.
