Messed up Lyrics?

So my son's been listening to a CD with Pinball Wizard on it lately (he's 9). He really likes the song, but we were listening to it in the car and he was asking me stuff like "what's Pinball", and "how anyone can play by sense of smell?" LOL. So I explained the game, and the song. Then he says "OH! Now the words make so much more sense! But why do they call him 'Cleft on a Blanket'?"

I was like "WTF? Cleft on a blanket?" Then it hit me. "Deaf dumb and blind kid." LMFAO!!!!

Reminded me of some lyrics I messed up for years until one day I got them. One of my best is in Looking out my Back Door from CCR. I could SWEAR they were saying "Elephants and mammories are playing in the sun"

My wife still hears the song where part of the lyrics are "Space Junkies"...but she always sings, "Space Monkeys"!

Scandal did the song "The Warrior" and I used to run around singing "The Lawyer!"
Friend of mine heard "Blowing In the Wind" and used to think they sang "The Ants Are my friends and they are blowing in the wind." Correct: Answer my friends....

I'm sure I'll remember more as this still can be a thorn in my side!
