Today my cravings are running wild. I could eat a freaking house. I hate these days. My fingers and arms even look good enough to eat. thank goodness for sugar free jello. Its a zero carb day the next 2 days. Not a good time for cravings like this one that i have. I dont get them to often but when i do its a fight. I end up consuming a lot of s/f jello...Sorry just had to rant a little...

Oh Hoops! Been there man!!!!! EVERY FREAKING DAY!!!! Even on my high carb days! There are some things in my diet I just can't eat because I'll bloat, or spill over, or something!!! All I can say is what Tim and others have told me......... Keep your eye on the goal! Remember...that guy next to you on stage is probably eating tuna and bustin his azz right now to beat YOU! Don't give in to the cravings. You can CHOOSE to be a fat man....or CHOOSE to Be a lean, mean BODYBUILDING MACHINE!!!! Do you think the girls will look at you and say, " Yea baby...I just love the way your tummy hangs over your belt!" I don't think so.... I'd rather hear them say, "Yea baby...you are HOT! Are ALL your muscles THAT big?" Of course they are sweety!!!! Hang tough man....YOU CAN DO IT!!!! DRINK LOTS OF WATER...Get a rice cake....go brush your teeth a few times...whatever it takes........fight the good fight!!! I'm here for ya Bro!!! ( Just don't bite me!)

Steve, I know what you are talking about, it's tough, but remember that those moments are what seperate you from the average… it's what will make you proud to be a bodybuilder when you'll step on stage… a lot of people have what it takes technically to build an awesome physique but few have the will do a pre-contest diet! Just visualize how you want to look like on contest day… also think at you opponents, they are dieting hard right now… you dont want them to have an edge on you… the contest isnt win on contest day, it is win TODAY!
… and please… do some more sugar free jello! ;D

Here`s a quote I found that everyone who is thinking of cheating on their diet should keep in mind:

LOL @ the pizza.
Hoops, I used to use a lot of gum to handle the cravings. I know that I never once considered cheating an option, but there were times when I would get SUPER irritated because I'd think about how long it would be until I could eat a sub again. For some reason my cravings were for subs, pizza, and Jamaican beef patties (true! I have no idea why). The plan I was using, sugar-free jello would have been cheating. But gum and coffee were ok. Gum was my best friend, and I drank a LOT of cinnamon flavoured coffee with sweetener. Of course, that meant I had to drink more water, which made getting through an 80 minute class without running otu a lot of fun but ....
You do what you need to do. You know that. That is what makes a bodybuilder a bodybuilder. Doesn't matter how tough it is, or how pissed off you get, or how hungry. Because a bodybuilder would eat dirt if that's what he had to do. And he'd LOVE it.
