My friend, and Grandaughters trainer VONDA WARD, won her fight against Marth Salazar last night in a close decision. So, she is now the WBC WORLD HEAVWEIGHT CHAMP!!!!
We went to the fight and it was great. Salazar had the first few rounds with this wild haymaker which connected a few times, but Vonda caught on an hammerred her with a uppercut in the 5th round which popped Martha into the ropes, then Vonda dominated after that.
Was a fun (late) night. My grandaughter went up into the ring with her after the fight and gave her a big hug! Vonda held her up for the camera's and said, "That's my number one fan! That's my girl!"
The gym will be crazy now!!!!!
