A BIG HUGH HUG and to everyone !!!!!! Well, the hospital kicked me out early as by day 2 I was already getting in and out of bed all by myself and walking all over the hospital with just the low walker ;D It took a few more days to convince them I was ready to go and by then I was walking without the walker - my room mate was still having a hard time just getting in and out of bed and she only had her surgery one day after me. One of the nurses told me they usually fight over which patient they don't want, but in my case they were fighting to get me on there list cause all they had to do was deliver my pills and take my vital signs. I got out the other day, at the bf's for a few days and will be heading to my mom's tomorrow. My boys came to visit on the weekend and are very happy to see things went so well. Cant wait to see them again. My back is telling me I need to go rest so I will sign off for now but will be back soon to check everyone's journals out. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all for you prayers and well wishes.

I know I have to take it easy and rest BUT IT IS SOOOO HARD. The other day I sitting in bed and I guess I was deep in thought, as the bf asked what I was thinking about. Told him I was trying to figure out what exercises I could do and right-a-way he said NONE!!!! So I just go for a walk each day and wait, wait and wait some more until I get the green light (although I have figured out a few things I can do using isometrics and the support bars that have been placed by the toilet make for great dips ;D )

You are a mental case just like the rest of us here!!!! #alol8tc# BUT with that said, you still need to rest and continue with the walking each day. You crack me up b/c I would be doing the same thing trying exercises with the support bars.

So....been a few days...how ya feeling? I wish I could say great, but it has been a bad week. Back is doing ok but mentally, I don't know how much more I can take. Because I am not able to do much, it was arranged that I would stay at my mom's for 2-3 weeks. I knew it would be ruff, I can tolerate her in small amounts but I knew I would need help so I agreed - BIG MISTAKE. The other day I was pretty much at my breaking point and while my mom and step-dad were out I grab my keys and came home. I know it was a stupid thing to do (I'm not supposed to drive for 4 weeks) but it was better than the other option that was popping into my head. Needless to say, everyone is angry with me, they came to try to get me to go back but I refused so they left but took my car so I wouldn't be tempted to drive again. Even the bf isn't taking to me and I'm not sure if I messed up for good, I took all my frustration out on him which wasn't fair. I know he did as much as he could for me (he was planning to take time off in April when I was supposed to have the surgery, but with the date being moved up he was in the middle of a trim down with his training and in the middle of some complicated computer programing) but I needed him more and got angry when he couldn't come and rescue me from my mom's place. Since coming home, I am doing a bit better. At least I can eat what I want and when I want and get back into some kind of routine but I am still very depressed, bored and upset. I am going to try to focus on studying for my PT certificate to keep me busy. Sorry for being so down but I just find it so hard to sit around and do nothing.

Don't be so hard on yourself. You have been through alot!!! I can understand exactly how you felt. It was not a good thing that you drove, but I understand why you did. PLEASE try to rest, you need to let your body recover completely. I know it is extremely difficult. Troy should understand why you reacted the way you did. PLEASE!! He is just as addiicted to working out as you are. Again don't be so tough on yourself, you are only human!! You are entitled to be cranky once in a while!! Be strong Cindy!! Gripe all you want, we are here for you!!
