was flipping thru the channels late last night when I found our local ION station playing old Charlies Angels reruns.
Talk about a blast from the past! There is big Roger (more on that later) having mysterious "accidents" and the Angels rush in to help.
cool old stuff:
plastic over concrete weights
shag haircuts (on the guys)
Caddies and Lincolns the size of aircraft carriers
bodybuilders with "normal" sized legs
tiny little bodysuits (remember Parr of Arizona? i think the wardrobe people shopped there)
Nautilus equipment.
In addition another bodybuilder whose name escapes me was a protagonist (I think he worked as a stand in on the old "incredible Hulk series) and several faces, such as Bob Reise, had walk ons for the "Mr Galaxy" scenes.
One thing was that Roger had obvioulsy done stunt work. His fight choreography was dead on and realistic.
All in all lots of fun and makes me wonder how they are doing now, Roger, Bob, et al.
One other thing. all three of the Angels towered over Roger.
