OK....the BIG guy is back!! Yup, I'm 5'2".
My wife is 5'0".
During my "dating" years
, (yes, I was a "player"), height was NEVER a problem. I have had much success with much taller women......
Like the ladies said, it is so much more important how you treat your partner...and that has taken me along way.....in many "aspects" of the game ;D
I haven't changed since I'm married.
I still beleive in wine & dining my wife.
Surprising her with little weekend get-a-ways.
Flowers, jewelry (we don't do candy).
It's all in the details, and time and thought you put into it.
I could bore you with hndreds of stories, but I'll share just one in a "bullet" format as to not take up a lot of space.
Scheduled a 4 day weekend (she had no clue)
Arranged the time off with her boss (wo her knowing)
Got up as if going to work..and headed out of town to a luxury Irish Theme B&B. Very cozy and Romantic. She was shocked.
I pre-packed her suitcase the night before and hid it in the car.
Took her to dinner at the B&B Manor House, where we were piped in by a Scottish Piper in kilt.
Secluded table, roses on table...owner walked around reading the poetry of Robert Frost, in a hushed Irish Brogue.
When we returned to the room...across the bed were 23 (our anniv) paper hearts I cut out and wrote I LOVE YOU in 23 different languages. We adjourned to the out door hot tub (use your imagination here).
Upon our return.....
On her pillow was a book that I had written for her of memories of our times together, spanding 23 plus years.....under her pillow was a ring box....containing a ruby and emerald ring. (Again. use your imagination here.
Four beautiful days....and four loving nights together.
Walking in the forest, holding hands, talking.
Splashing in the hot tub.....
This was just ONE of the MANY, MANY surprises I had for her over our 30 years of marriage.......
Height don't count fella's.......trust me on this one ;D
