I was watching this show on Travel & Living channel where these singles(men/women) from Manhattan, Newyork seek help of a dating agency through which they get to meet new guys/gals.Speaking of gals out of some 25 guys, 3 are selected and they get to stay with the women for 5 days one by one until it's time to move on and the next guy walks in. During this period the girl decides whom she likes/dislikes and finally after three weeks are done she can either pick up one of the three guys or she can choose a new one from the big lot of 25 guys. Now most of these women are damn annoying trying to find flaws in anything and have a lot of issues & are fussy about everything,lol. In today's show as they were under the process of selecting guys one of the judges ,a women (Relationship Expert) asked the guy how tall was he?? The guy said he was 5'8 & 1/2. The judge then sarcastically asked him how many successful AMERICAN women has he dated?? To add insult to the injury the friend of the women( who is about to choose one of the guy's) smirks and says that this guy is WAY TOO SHORT. You should have seen that guy's face. Poor fellow. Now is 5'9 considered to be very short for a guy by American standards??   |

Height does not count when your horizontal.

We are getting taller. I'm 5'10, and I am short compared to my friends, and shorter than most of my male students.

nah,5ft9 is not short- I'd be happy with that! As long as you're not shorter than me(@ 5ft6) you are right-some women ARE too fussy! What about how he treats them-isn't that more important?? |

Yup I am 5'7 and Chris is 6'2. 5'9 is about average I would say. Beckie is right though, it is much more important how he treats you than how tall he is!!! BTW I am short in my family, sis Jen is 5'9, sis Meg is 5'11, Dad is 6'4!!! Mom is shortie 5'6. ;D

Since I am from Goa, a tropical paradise and a great tourist spot, I have dated quite a few Caucasians(girls from UK mostly) in the past without any problems. But hey, none of them were taller then me,lol. |
