We watched "300" in the theatre. Good stuff. Not as GREAT as I expected. I always get all worked up and then i ma let down a bit. Dont get me wrong. Go see it! Just wasnt as good as I thought it would be. GREAT action and special effects though.
Netflix sent us "Little Ms Sunshine" HILLARIOUS!!!

WE saw "Wild Hogs" last weekend.
Really funny. Haven't heard my wife laugh so loud in a long time!

Netflix sent us "Little Ms Sunshine" HILLARIOUS!!! I LOVED Little Miss Sunshine!!! Alan Arkin, who played the grandfather was HILARIOUS!!! When the little girl did that dance to "Super Freak" Terry and I were rolling! EXCELLENT MOVIE!!! One movie we just watched, that at first we were kind of not sure about but I really liked ALOT is, Stranger than Fiction, with Will Ferrell! Very good, you start watching it and are tempted to stop but you keep watching to see what is going to happen. GREAT movie!! Also we LOVED the Departed, another recent one we have watched!!! |

Sunshine was very entertaining. Alan Arkin deserved the Oscar; great performance.
Also recommend The Queen. Helen Mirren also deserved her Oscar as Elizabth II. Unbelievable combination of acting, makeup and wardrobe.
Saw Devil Wears Prada on DVD. As always, Meryl Streep was just brilliant as a boss from hell. Worth seeing.

Has anyone seen Mel Gibson's Apocalypto Now?? Also what about Will Smith's The Pursuit of Happyness as both are recently released in India.

For you guys that want a good classic movie to watch and cuddle with your gal- get the original Breakfast at Tiffany's with Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard (Netflix has it). It's actually a GREAT old move that has really held up- wasn't what I was expecting. It's a romance of sorts but not too "cutsey" that it will make you barf. |

Agree, Mike. Audrey Hepburn was terrific in it. She was in a great 1967 film with Alan Arkin called Wait Until Dark. She is a blind housewife pursued by thugs. Well written and acted.

Last night we just finished "The Gridiron Gang" with the Rock. It is based on a true story. It was EXCELLENT!!! I highly recommend seeing it!
