I've just called around to like 10 places in an around Toronto, and nobody has any 45 lb Olympic plates in stock. Soonest shipment is May 24. Funny thing is they all get their weight from the same place (China), yet prices range from $0.48/lb to $0.80/lb for the non-fancy stuff. The only place that had any weight only has the fancy plastic encased kind that goes for a fortune. Whatever. Though I have to admit .... they look really cool .... www.foremostfitness.com/fitness_equipment_product140.html BUT WEIGHT IS WEIGHT!!!!! Right? But they look so cool ....... Screw it. I'm not paying more than I have to. It's just weight. I feel better now.

Darned Montrealers.
If they didn't make such great bagels and smoked meat, I'd go over there and kick all their asses.

That's the new startegy… I buy every 45lbs plates I find and let those 5 lbs dumbels to my fellow Canadian in Toronto… this way, i'm sure they wont build to much muscle mass! ;D … and Montreal isnt only about bagels and smoked meat… Andrew (Chanman) confirmed that our strip clubs were great (but I CANT confirm that myself ), Randy told me that oreo's were better here and i'm telling you that we have the best off season meal… THE POUTINE! ;D

Damn you Mo!!! How am I supposed to get big?!? I hear the strip clubs in Toronto are pretty good too .... just what I hear .... As for the Poutine - EWWW!!! I never saw the appeal of mixing cheese, gravy and fries. I am from Montreal, by the way. I still have a lot of family there. I lived in Chomedey until I was about 10 years old. I still prefer Montreal bagels, smoked meat, rye bread, and WOMEN!
