Hey man. Just a thought. Did you consider that maybe your posing was off in the Open class opposed to the Novice class? Maybe thats why the diferent placings? Just a thought...

Its funny you asked that cause i actually thought i posed better the 2nd time around. Plus i felt harder also like i was tighter but figured it was just in my head. All i know is that in 2 weeks i am doing a cross over and i am going to attack it with a vengence with each pose.

Hoops,
Congrats on your showing this past weekend. It was great to have you up there. As far as the placings, I do get a kick out of everyone's theories on here, but fact is, it was no screw up. You got the 3rd place the first class by one point and a judge changed over for the open and you got 4th by one point. I asked the judge that did this if it was an accident, he said no, he placed you third the first time, and when watching the second class, he felt the other guy was third. This happened to two other guys on Saturday as well. The judges talked after pre-judging, and all agreed that the classes should be judged as they are on stage. Not altered later to match up. Otherwise, what's the use in crossing over, you could just come out in the second class and stand there with your hands on your hips and say "well, I know I already beat these guys in an earlier class" Know what I mean?
Anyway, it was great to meet you, and was awesome to have you up there. I have the score cards here, I'll post those classes if you want.

Dustin I had a great time and it was a pleasure meeting and talking with you. You ran a great show. My only question would be then is what the judge saw that i did wrong that i did right the first time so as i dont do it again.

Hoops!
You looked good Bro!
Don't sweat the judges....politics....half blind sometimes...math wizards....I don't try to second guess them anymore..not worth the effort! They see, what they THINK they see. It's an illusion sport.
This is my theory:
When I get ready to step on stage, I do not want ANY judge to have ANY doubts about where I will place. When I walk out, I want the judges to be able to just glance at me and say, "That's the first place guy..right there!" Then I want them to stare in disbelief.....in hushed tones! I'm tired of 2nd, 3rd, etc. I WANT first. I will no longer settle for anything else. That is now my mantra..... I WILL do WHATEVER it takes to get me there!
You know what I mean brother? Now.... let's show them what we can do!

Hoopie, honestly he told me the second time around he thought that guy was tighter and bigger, he didn't say that he thought you changed one way or another. the head judge said that if you think the placings were different before, then maybe they were, don't go back and change an old class just to match.
Without going back and analyzing the video, it's hard to tell if you did anything hoops, but in pre-judging those classes were over 35 minutes apart, and someone can tighten up in that time frame or maybe he didn't pump up before the first class, who knows. I can't say for the judges
but I can tell you it was discussed as to the situation and was not an accident. Don't know if that helps you feel any better or not.
