More of a funny thread, than a serious one- but this did actually just occur to me. When dieting, for a show or just leisurely as I am doing now, it's always good to give yourself a bit of a "boost" in the form of a cheat meal. Some people have pizza, some ice cream etc...well, my cheat meal today was cheeseburgers. Being egged on by my training partners/co-workers/friends, they know how much I can eat. So, they pick Fuddruckers, a place I've written about in the past. They wanted me to do 4lbs of burgers! I said no way, 3 would be pushing it. However, today I just wanted to "play it safe" and "only" order the 2lber. Just like they said "only 2lbs? That's all?" ;D Well, that wasn't a good idea. After dieting for any length of time, your stomach gets a bit smaller. Mine certainly has. As after the first few bites of one pound burger #2, I was about full. But I still had to eat the rest. I couldn't let my reputation be sacrificed for something so banal. Well, I got through it, but here it is an hour later and I'm a walking whale-with a six-pack though! ;D
So, DO eat a good booster shot of a meal.
DO NOT eat two pounds of solid hamburger meat (lean or not!) in order to achieve it!!!
Anyone else have any good stories like this?

Too funny YB!! ;D
Once after a show I ate so much I had to lay on my side.......my stomach felt like a rock and looked like I had swallowed a watermelon.
Your stomach does indeed shrink,as well as our brains when we decide to pig out like Homer Simpson while leaner than hell. ;D

I did the Junior Nationals in Chicago in 2003. When I left Chicago Sunday morning I weighed around 230. It was a 13 hour drive. When I got home I got on the scale and it said 255. I gained 25 pounds in 13 hours. We stopped at almost every rest stop on the way home. I basically ate for 13 straight hours. I felt horrible when I got home and would never do that again.

I have found that my weekly carb up day/cheat meal just makes me feel lousy anymore. That and the gas it gives me means I sleep on the couch that night! I did go out on Easter with the Mrs. and my mother. I saved my carb up day for Sunday instead of sat. Well we went to Golden Corral and although I didn't have much in terms of 'bad' food. Mostly just meat and some carb it still hit me BAD! I had to run a few stop lights on the way home to make the toilet in time! Rough day indeed.
