WOW, i am freaking tired and just plain wore out!!! Dont mean to complain but i am just mentally and physically wore out/tired. I have been dieting since the 2 week of Dec. with only taking X-max, New Years and the day after my last show off. Body plain feels run down. My plans for after this show this weekend is to take the following week off and re-charge my batteries and EAT! I dont want to weigh out my chicken or beef or whatever i am eating. I'm just going to eat it. For that matter i dont even want to look at a food scale for a week. My energy level is that of a snail. I'm about ready to beat my head off a freaking wall.....

I think most of us here that have competed would totally understand your feelings Hoops. Dieting and training for that long takes a huge toll on the body both emotionally and physically so I'm sure you'll enjoy your break next week... Just one day or meal at a time from now on in buddy

Sounds like you're 1 week out from a show!
As Beckie said. The competitors know EXACTLY how you feel. Don't worry about sounding like you're complaining. You're allowed! Feel free.

Hoops!
man I feel exactly the same, and I haven't been on stage yet this year.
Feel overtrained, over dieted, frustrated. I've been hitting it since January 1 and I thought I'd have made better progress by now. Totally Pissed off about it today. Low carb day~Leg Day to top it off.
Well Bro......That's the lifestyle we CHOSE....... Ain't it a bit*h?!?!

That's natural, Steve. One show is difficult enough, much less two (even if they are close together). Just give yourself a deserved long off season after this and eat what you want for a while! You're allowed!
Hang in, bud.

You are almost there. This is the time of the diet that separates first place and everyone else. Keep up the good work.

That`s what I like to hear Hoops........if it was easy bro,we`d all be walking around at between 3-5 % bodyfat on a daily basis.
This contest prep thing seperates the bodybuilders from the wannabes.
How many times have you seen guys who say their gonna` do their first contest only to back out because the diet is too tough?
Easy to train, but hard to train and diet, along with cardio, posing, and that little thing called life that always seems to pop up especially bigtime during a prep.
KICK ASS AND TAKE NAMES HOOPS....................THINK FIRST PLACE BRO!! #teamwotwsf4#

Not everyone can do it. We're the special ones. Hoops, you're doing great bro, dig for it, then reward your efforts! Keep your chin up when it's not on a pillow. Good luck

WOW! Tim that was soo true. Never did I realize how hard it is to diet, lift, do cardio AND all those other things.. like, WORK, CLEAN, DO LAUNDRY... etc. This is alot more difficult than anyone knows (unless you have done it) Hoops you are one tough hombre! You can do this for 5 more days THEN EAT!!!!!!! Love ya Sweetie!

Steve… the more difficult it is, the more you'll be proud of what you will have accomplished…not everyone have what it takes to do the more demanding sport in the world (a 24hours/day and 7days/week sport) but you do…
We are behind you Steve!
