The quality of the Athletes at this years Jr. USA's was much improved. Granted, some of the winners like Chad Martin and Justin Harris were better then this years Heavy and Super Heavy winners, but the classes top to bottom were much more competitive.
Look for the Jr. USA next October as a primer for Nationals!

I agree Joe,but I`d still like to see more top level guys in all classes, especially the lighter weight classes......but they are much better.
I attended this contest in 2001,and the turn out was pretty small with a lot of guys who just didn`t belong there.
Let`s hope it continues to improve.

Proud of Mike Horn. Been a top competitor over the years and has been consistently in top 5 in masters national events. he and his wife Jan are great people.
And Scott Strack and Scott Middlestaat came off strong showings in the Mets here two weeks ago.
Also proud of Lisa Bouchard, who won Mets women's BB and placed well here!
Looked like another good show for promoter Tres Bennett.

Andrew, figure is classed by height (in stocking feet).
With six classes in this show, class A is up to 5'2", B up to 5'3", C up to 5'4", D up to 5'5", E is up to 5'6", and F is over 5'6".
Most shows have 3 or 4 classes so the height ranges will vary.

Glad to see Mike Horn win. That guy's got some long a$$ legs- cool to see a tall guy able to pack on the mass it takes to win the overall.
