Sorry Tim - I'm going off topic a little. BUT does anyone ever feel torn emotionally, even a little, about not being able to attend some of the shows our little family is a part of? I would love nothing more than to be in the audience to see Tim as he comes out on stage and does his thing. Unfortunately that is not financially possible or logisitcally possible. Not to mention my training partner is getting in ashow tomorrow as well. It just eats at me sometimes because I have met such wonderful people on this board as well as others and I can;t be there to support then in the crowd.
Just a little something I was thinking about today.
I'm out -- -

Jeremy… it's far from being off topic! In fact, I feel the same! What would be really cool is to have someone here attending the show… and the day after, starting a descriptive thread of the show with photos and infos about what happened! A kind of reporter wannabe thread So Tim... how do you feel today? What is the essential of your preps today?

Jeremy. I totaly agree.. I have been trying to get to the NE's for Tim for about 3 years now. Its always the same weekend of my mom's B day... I will get to one of his other shows eventually.
Guess we can only be in so many places at once.

What would be really cool is to have someone here attending the show… and the day after, starting a descriptive thread of the show with photos and infos about what happened! A kind of reporter wannabe thread It's funny you mention that. My brother and I were actually talking about trying to do a newsletter for all the local shows. Attending, getting the photos doing write ups, etc. He has a Creative Writing/English degree, my wife and I do photography and there is a passion for the sport and truly a desire to do something at least locally. But the cash to do it isn't there. Which shows do you decide to go to? And how do you get any type of money back to keep it alive? Just a few things that have prevented me from doing this in my own home state let alone on a larger level. I even talked to a few web board owners about this but the people on the sites are few and far between regarding who competes (except here we have quite a few) and there is rarely a concentrated group of individuals on a board from one area. I would love to do something like this for the local guys who will never get the coverage in Flex or MuscleMag, etc but the "HOW" is what's killing me. I'm sure it would mean a lot to the "average" competitor to see how he did, a small write up - good or bad- and see the photos from an unbiased source. Let's face it most of us who compete will be known only by our friends and family and that is a biased out look from the start. Then we have the web board we belong to and that is biased as well- to a lesser degree, but it is. And that feedback or information given to the board from the competitor doesn't usually have much in the way of the rest of the show. There is a huge potential for something wonderful for us amature competitors and I am all for doing something but unless I become independently wealthy I can't see how I could sustain this and not make any $$ in the process. That's it… now we combine two of my passions: Bodybuilding and Business! Jeremy, it's an old cliché in Business, but it remains so true: You have to find a specific Need (a Demand) in a specific market! Ask yourself the question, What is the thing (and what are the criterias of this thing) people would like to pay for… but cant because they cant find it? Easier to say than to do I agree

Just the support I get from everyone here is more than enough guys.
In a sport like bodybuilding,we all have to stick together........which we certainly do on WOTW.
Mo,I personally think,I look better than I ever have in my life...I`ve been more cut,but my physique is much more balanced this time around.
This morning at the gym,my training partner was impressed with my leg seperation.....said it`s the best shes ever seen it.
I hope the judges like me,but who cares,I`m just gonna` bring it........it`ll be a tough contest no doubt, and I would love to win it,but I`d be happy with top three.
Doing the Open Middleweight as well,so the kids better be ready for grandpa` !! LOL #oldmansmiley9lq#
Just want to thank everybody here for being so supportive of each other and we`ll probably/hopefully meet somewhere down the road at some contest or another.
Thanks everyone.......you`re the best! #woot4ho# #woot4ho#

Well, It's 10:00 pm and hopefully Timmy is tucked away in his bed, resting, and dreaming of his NEW trophy he'll get tomorrow!
ENJOY the journey my brother.
A prayer for his success and safety!
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Rest well tonight our brother....the contest awaits you.

A little off topic, but...... You mentioned the NABBA Nats. I think I, Hoops, and perhaps others are doing that one too! Wouldn't it be cool if WOTW could sweep the show?!?!? ;D We should certainly coordinate our efforts on that one. Perhaps we could make a GREAT weekend out of it!!! Let's think about it!!! Frank, GREAT idea....I'm seriously considering doing that one too....Over 40 AND 50! Keith
