Wow. I'm overwhelmed. Thank you all very much. The show was the OCB Pacific Northwest States and I took first in Master's and 2nd in Overall, as Mo stated. Small show, but I wanted to give the OCB a shot as I think it's a solid natural bodybuilding federation with a good support and a strong future. It was a bit of a warmup show as I'm still trying to find what contest prep works for me. In being completely natural, I'm starting to feel that changing absolutely nothing before and during the show--sodium, fat, carbs, water, etc.--may be the way to go. I've tried the standard bodybuilding "tricks" but always seem to think that I looked better the Tuesday before the show, before I altered anything. I'm doing the the ABA/INBA Mr. Millenium, Mr. Reno show this Saturday and will take a "change nothing" approach and see what that does. My main goals: the INBF Capital Cities in July--I came in 3rd last year in Masters (out of 13) and 2nd in heavyweights, and the OCB show in Phoenix in September. I'm shooting for a Master's win in both of them, but even more so I would like overall and a pro card so I can compete on the national level. Through these early, smaller shows I hope to refine what works for me with diet and coloring, and really get smooth on my posing, so that I "look" professional. Again, I appreciate all the great comments and support, and yes, that is me in the photo. Here's another with my two "trophies," backstage. Bob

Bob.....the picture with your little girls sewed it up for me.........I think everyone here knows how I ,as a father, view my children and for that matter, all children. To include them, and make them a part of your big moment says more than enough to me.......I'll never forget the look on the face of the first guy that ever interviewed me after an early win, when I said, "Can we talk about my kids?" His reply was, "Wow...a bodybuilder who wants to talk bout something other than himself...now that's different!" I then said, "Besides, I already have the greatest title in the world anyway." He said , "what title is that?"... I said, "DAD"..................You strike me as someone who not only is an OUTSTANDING bodyuilder, but one who truly understands what proper priorities in this life are all about. You have my TOTAL respect for all you are doing on stage and, more importantly, for being a real father to your children.
