My son Brett was picked to play on the All Star Team in Baseball. An the other great news was that i was asked to be the head coach of the team. Man i was stoked and so proud for my son! I have been on cloud nine since i got the news and told him. To see his eyes light up with excitement just got me even more pumped up. What a great experience it will be for the both of us. what was even more thrilling is when he looked at me and said, " I made on the All Stars just like you did dad when you were little"! I gave him the biggest bear hug i could when he said that. His team finished up the regular season today and i couldnt be more happy with how he played this year. Batting .653 with 34 rbi's 19 runs and only 6 k's with 49 total at bats. Now on to the playoffs then the All Star tournaments which will run every weekend thru July....

Well my 7 year olds have their first game tomorrow. With the luck of the draw i found out that they got picked to play an all 8 year old team. those 8 y/o's better watch out cause those 7's that i have, have impressed the hell out of me as a team.
On a side note my daughter yesterday in her playoff game hit a grand slam home run to win the game for her team.. I almost ran out on the field when she hit home plate i was so happy.
Ball season just keeps moving along....

Steve-O..the apple doesn't fall far from the tree! You have been a great role model for them, and you are helping them make memories that they will share with their children, and remember for a long, long time. I'm proud to have you as my friend..... By the way, when your son referred to "when you were little....." he didn't mean before you started lifting did he ? LOL!!! ;D Keep up the great job!!! GO HOOPIE FAMILY!!!!!!
