I can understand all of them, except the failure to give a proper signal. I've seen people all over the US that don't signal properly, but that's something that cops have never really enforced unless they're looking for a way to pull you over on the way home from a bar. I just can't see how that's justifiable, over a grand of dough, just for failing to signal- of course there is a lot of gray area in what would constitute needing to signal.
You think that's bad? Try getting your Class A license, and see all the restrictions that come along with that. Then tell me how bad it is- and I'm not even talking about fines, strictly punishment for the rule broken.

Thats an odd one about the signalling-guess they're looking to make a little extra $$ out of drivers! do you guys have speed cameras over there? We have them all over the place!

Are you a truck driver also. I can tell you most don't know the half of what we got to put up with just because of the the class A.No matter if its in your car or truck it all goes against you.

Yes sir, I am a truck driver on and off for my job. I'll be on a truck most days, and others I can range from merchandising to sales. The Class A, the thing that pisses me off the most is that you cannot attend traffic school- the ticket stays on your record...and I'm not 100% but I think now it's double the points as well. So for a C Class driver, a speeding ticket is one point and it's 2 for us! Plus we can't erase it. The D.O.T. is strict as all hell, which can be good. But when you see all these truck drivers that you know have been up for days, with log book violations, doing meth for a cross country haul; kind of makes you wonder why you get stopped for a cracked mud flap!!!
