that was my nutrition guru's response to my whining about not being able to do my usual out door activities and , as a consequence, not leaning out like i usualy do. With 21 days of rain, saturated ground, walking bike paths flooded, unable to get out and simply DO, the gym flooding twice, wheat crop ruined, some towns underwater, a refinery smashed up, lakes closed, it's been horrible!
Because of my BP alot of the so called diet pills are out of the question, so I'm back to 1500 milligrams of l-carnitine a day and 30 min minimum of cardio daily. We got a break yesterday and saturday so I was at least able to get out and mow and edge before I got ticketed by neighborhood services.
I started looking about and it's not just me. some top guys and gals are carrying a spare tire still because of this.
I know i'm being whiney but damn we have more rain expected for the entire week!

Sorry for all the misfortune, Brock. This is something out of your control, so no use stressing. Just hang in till the bad stuff passes. You will get back on track.

To quote Cartman from Southpark: "I'm not fat, I'm getting in shape!" (and don't forget..round is a shape too )

Wish we could take some of that water from you, Brock. We'll certainly hit drought levels this year and are currently on a run of triple digit heat days. Hang in there and while I know it's boring as hell, maybe up the cardio or do 2 sessions to keep the metabolism going and burn some fat.

I was hiking a muddy path near Seward Alaska last Fall. It was drizzling/snowing and about 45 degrees.
I was a good five miles away from any houses or campgrounds that I could see.
When along comes a guy jogging. Sopping wet. wearing running shorts and a t-shirt with the Marines logo.
An hour later, he passed me going the other way.
looked to be a big and ripped 6'4" or so...
