lol, Tim. Some have done both. My pal Joe Ladnier has had a distinguished lifting career, and is competing in Masters Nats over 40. Was 9th last year, and looks like he will do better this year.
Never say never, Frank!

Well, I do like THIER diet better ;D
Wouldn't YOU like to show up at registration for your next contest, with a large pizza box in your hand?
Anyways....... I have met a lot of people that started one way, then went to the "other side".
I think they can be complimentary.....with cautions!
anybody else?

You leave the powerlifting to me and Bernie! BTW...misnomer......not ALL powerlifters are HEAVY!! I am competing in the 115 weight class....so, one can stay at a reasonable weight!!! ;D

Let me think about it:
(Powerlifter) Eating whatever you want... Lifting impressive heavy weights… Buying only one size of clothes, XXL… Waiting 5 mins between sets... No tanning, shaving or dehydration… Not being depressed because of low carbs…
(Bodybuilder) Versus Looking good at the beach!
Bodybuilding rocks!!! ;D
