I went back and looked at his pictures from 4 weeks out and from the last contest. In my opinion, he was a lot tighter and harder at the last contest and looked a lot better. He looks good at 4 weeks out but that conditioning is not going to win a show like the Masters Nationals which is his next show.
We both know it would be great too come into a show big, hard, shredded and symmetrical but that doesn't happen all the time. Being a smaller guy, Keith needs to come in hard, shredded and as big as possible without sacrificing conditioning if he wants a shot at the big guys. I think this was accomplished. The judges feedback confirm this.
I do value opinions though and yours is appreciated.

The judges feedback confirm this. I do value opinions though and yours is appreciated. I have to agree with Eric 100% here. I KNOW what I looked like in person 4 weeks out and I may have looked good, but I was IN NO WAY close to the condition I came into at the West Palm. The judges all said it was my conditioning that carried me through, and my conditioning at 4 weeks out was not really close to what I brought to the stage. And in regards to the Southen States, everyone commented once again on my conditioning and the extra size and fullness that Ihad in comparison to the West Palm. I think Eric had mentioned this before but he purposely had me go to the point where I started to lose that razor sharpness and we pulled it back fro there. For the Souhtern States I was as full as possible while still maintaining that extreme level of conditioning. Eric fully knows he can bring me in heavier as time passes with the same conditoning, but at this point, 3 weeks after the West Palm, I was as full as I could be if I wanted to be razor sharp. As a Middleweight on the National Level that razor sharp conditioning is always going to be what gives me an edge, not only in my weight class, but also in comparison to the light heavies and heavyweights. To tell you the truth, to me, I looked almost smooth at 4 weeks out compared to the level of conditioning I brought to the stage at the West Palm. It will never be enough for me to look "good" I HAVE to have freaky conditioning to deal with the heavier weight classes. And again, you have to remember, Eric fully believes he can get me to the point where I'm 10-15 pounds heavier with that same level of conditioning. I KNOW he'll get me there...but it's not something that we could have done in 3 weeks.........he's looking to do this over the course of the next year. My brother Bill, who has seen me compete each and every time I ever stepped on stage said he had NEVER seen me look that full and sharp ever before. I AM going to keep adding muscle with Eric's dietary guidance...the key is to always maintain that "freaky" conditioning along with it. I am totally confident in his ability to make that happen...... the results already confirm it for me.

Again, stating my opinion from what I veiwed up close. It was not criticism because Keith looked amazing. I just saw room for a little more fullness (again...my opinion). And Keith, remember that it is TWO Eric's that will be bringing that extra 10-15 lbs!

The first page that comes up is the pre judging in the weight class...those shots are ok, but they are from a little distance. If you locate the "navigate sub galleries" bar at the bottom of the page, scroll to "PM03 Men Over 50 Lightweight" ...those are all indivdual shots of me and they came out pretty good, and if you scroll to "PM06 Men Over 50 Overall" there are some really good shots there on both pages.
