Hi all! I am good! We were in Cancun for 10 days and just got settled the other day. We had painted our computer room right before we left and did not have the energy to set everything back up for a day or two. Thanks for thinking about me. Also... I should tell you.. I decided not to compete this August. It was just not going well for me, I was totally exhausted and dizzy alll the time. I was also covered in unexplained bruises and it worried me to tell you the truth. I just thought it was not good for me to lose much more weight. I was down to 118 from 139 and STILL had to lose more. I really could not function the way I needed to function. I was getting forgetful and sloppy at work. I am a computer network engineer and I support close to 3,000 users. When I get sloppy, it is a BAD thing. Also Chris and I are getting married, working on our house, getting a new dog. All this requires energy. Regardless of the reasons, I am not necesssarily proud of the decision, but I do feel it is the best thing for me right now. The comp was August 26th... our wedding is August 30th (tentatively) I am planning on holding at 121 or so til after the wedding (dress)... then I want to work on building up where I need. I may try again next year, I may not. Either way the dieting was a learning experience and a test of discipline. I have such respect for those who can diet down without falling down. Seriously no one knows how brutal it is, until they try. ;D

Thanks Randy and Beckie.... I feel OK about it. I think. I am still trying to keep to the diet I was on, but I added a piece of fruit first thing in the am. Just that little extra has made a difference. I think the 10 days of rest helped too. We are planning a small ceremony/dinner at the Land's End (a restaraunt with a beach), afterwards the dinner. Only parents, siblings and nephews and nieces will be there. We will spend a long weekend in Montauk for a mini honeymoon. I am starting to look for a dress.... not a conventional wedding dress, I am thinking light yellow silk. Very summerly and feminine. ;D

If I had half as many holiday's as you I would be happy Glad you had a good time. You have made the right decision, your health is more important, it takes more courage to realize that and that alone makes you a winner Your wedding plans sound great, wishing you and Chris all the best.

Thanks Tim, Karrie and Tiff! I am feeling much better already, I am still dieting but my carbs are slightly higher and cardio a little less. I am permitted one piece of fruit with meal one, which makes me happy. ;D ;D ;D We do go on lots of vacations Tiff, I am a travel agent too and get great deals. If you want to book one, I will send you a link to my page. ;D
