I am planning to compete in the NC Clash on Oct 20th. Maybe another on the 13th as well as one on the 27th. My dilema is that Jen and I are going on a cruise Sept 16th for a week. The food on these ships is NUTS! Its everywhere. its a big part of the fun on a cruise. This would not leave me much time when we get back. OH BOY!! TUFF SLEDD'N!!!

I'd say do the latter aka the 27th so you can enjoy yourself "within reason" on the cruise. Cruises aren't fun when you can't EAT the nice ass food. My opinion

Agree with Andrew. Otherwise, lock yourself in the cabin with the chicken breasts! ;D

In a way, I cant imagine going on a Cruise and not enjoying all the food… but in the other hand, I cant imagine enjoying all that food and compete 5-6 weeks later (for me at least  )!  So it's hard to say... |
