Today is a big occasion in our family-my parents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary!
It is the first one in our family for a very long time and there won't be another one for nearly 10 years so its important we celebrate it in style
Tonight it will be champagne in the gold tipped crystal flutes I bought for the occasion and tomorrow is a special family dinner with all of Mums siblings and several of Dads close friends.
Not many couples make it to 50 years these days so it is quite the honor to be part of a family that has made it this far,despite the ups and downs.

Today I am off to collect the cake and to organise the family for tonights big dinner. We are going to one of the city's top Thai restaurants where we will indulge in a few curries or other spicy food-YUM!
