Want to thank everyone here! Your well wishes of support have been great and have not fallen on def ears. I am trudging along still training. My hopes for October are gone and now i look to the (near) future i hope. If all works out right i may at it in April but only time will tell but that's my hopes. It was literally like depression when i had to back out of my October shows. I had dieted and trained so hard for 8 weeks. However in doing alot of soul(sp?) searching i knew it was for the better and that i will just have to do battle another day. I have re-strustured my diet and workouts in hopes of adding some muscle to my back and abs along with other areas. My thoughts now have gone from preparing for battle to taking out war on my body.
I havent posted much and have only popped in for a few seconds here and there and for that i apologize. Now with new thoughts and focus i am ready to rage war on myself in hopes of being able to do battle in the near future. Only time will tell......
THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE HERE!!! YA'LL ARE A GREAT BUNCH OF MEN AND WOMEN THAT I AM PROUD TO KNOW.

YAY!!!! Hoopies back! Steve, Glad to hear from you. I understand EVERYTHING you said. Been there. Done that. I was 3/4 of the way ready for a show earlier this year when my wife decided to do a meet on the same day. I had to choose. So I pulled out, after dieting, training my as* off, even started the tanning process, and put it all aside to support her. It happens. NOW, I'm training with her as a powerlifter (if ya can't beat 'em, join 'em!) I'm hoping to give my back more thickness, and learning overall better lifting techniques, to come back next year and compete in BB again. AND.....the powerlifters diet is much nicer I'll be doing my first powerlifting meet with my wife and Karrie in November. Keep at it Bro, and keep in touch. Missed ya! WELCOME BACK MY FRIEND!
