This is a pre-review
I just recieved the 2nd edition of this book. For those of you who do not know, its written by Dr. Carlon M. Colker. He appears on the tv show "Shaq's big challenged"
He has been in the industry for a long time, and is a MD.
This book is perhaps the best book I have ever read regarding nutrition. Not only does he explain what to eat, but also why, and what not to eat certain foods and why. I am not talking about just understanding the relationship between complex and simple carbs, I am talking about nutrition and what it does at the cellular leveL.
This book is a must read!

I've seen this book advertised on the Prosource web site and in their catalog. Looks like a very good read. Let us know what you think.

I am a 3rd of the way through and let me tell you this is a must read. I have learned soooooo much. I really feel as if i understand why. I mean I knew the theory just never understood completely and now I feel I know or at least have a reference.
He breaks things down in to two catagories. How to eat and train to become more anabolic, and how to eat and train to become more anti catabolic.
I stresses the anti catabolic stuff as being more important the become more anabolic.
Sometimes we think if we just train and get our protein in we will be fine, but we may actually be limiting our own potential.
The book explains how to change that.
I love it!
