Leona Helmsley's will was read, and it seems that even in death she is the Queen of Mean!
She left $12 million to her dog which is to be administered by her attorney. She could not do something better with that money? Children are starving in this country and around the world! Can't help thinking that is sick.
She also left her brother $15 million and to two of her grandchildren $10 million each. She left nothing to her other two grandchildren (with a note saying the knew why!). And $3 million goes into a fund to maintain the mausoleum where she and Harry are buried.
Her brother and the two favored grandchildren will control Helmsley Enteprises and the rest of her $4 BILLION estate goes into a charitable trust. Wish I were one of her charities!

12 million to a dog.
I can think of a few stronger descriptions than "Queen of Mean." #flamingsmiley3zp# #flamingsmiley3zp#

The newspaper headline here read "Rich B*tch' with a picture of Leona holding the dog.
Wonder which one they were referring to?? ;D
I'm with you, Bob. That money could have been put to much better use.

Amen, Hoop!!
There is a NYS state law prohibiting the dog from being buried with her, which is what she requested.
Her former maid, who hated the woman and the dog, suggested moving her to a pet cemetary so they can be together! My kind of thinking!! ;D
