What is your limit? How much bigger will you allow your waist to get in the off season oppsed to On season?

Maybe a half an inch.... Serious. Good job! You eat fairly LOW carb year round though, correct?

You're correct sir. I can get fat off any type of foods though, just like 90% of the population. It's not that I'm not gaining or progressing. I just am very maniacal about the look I want to keep/hold onto through the year. There is never any need to get obscenely fat or "bulk up." If you bulk up too fast, chances are high that you WILL lose any additional muscle that you've added. So why not go slow, and keep that muscle?

True. I am keeping all of my pants smaller this year and will NOT out grow them.

I'm not use to mesure it… but juging by my pants, I would say something like 2-3 inches: from 33 to 30-31.
But there is one thing i'm sure… I keep my bodyweight at around 12-15 lb from contest shape: 210lbs versus 195-197lbs

I know if i'm at 36 i'm FAT AGAIN UGH and like tim said.. visible abs are good too. I'm right now at a 33/34 so i'm happy about that right now. HOWEVER, it does suck that I have to buy 36 pants for work and get them taken down to a 34 because my legs don't fit in a reg 34 dress pants.

With me it's not what I allow my waist to do ... it's what my waist allows me to have. I struggle immensely with trying to stay lean, but I am not even close. At my contest I was wearing a 29. Now I am in a 36-38. I feel your pain!

I have no real on or off season, although Keith wants to train me to enter the Novice West Palm next year! I can go from a 34-36 at 235 to a 30 at 185. Now my brother has a freakin 27" waistline at 174, and a 31" waistline in his off season at about 210!!! I know, I know..disgusting...the guy's a freak! Wait till you see what he looks like on the 6th!We are going to train together this off season....can't wait!

I am in a 28 right now, might be able to wear 27 if I could find them. When I was at my heav iest 178, 32 waist were very snug. Not going to get much more than 152-155 lbs. off season try to stay in 28-29.
