Well I finally did it! I signed up a bench press meet this coming Saturday in Somerset PA. Next month is a deadlift and bench meet. I will be joing the 100%raw organization as well as the adau.
Drug and equipment free.
I am hoping to put up 400lbs at the meet.
I'll let you all know how I did.

Well I jumped in on the urging of a friend at work. He competes at a weight of 198 lbs, and holds the state record for a raw press of 410.
This will be my first real meet, and my last heavy workout was yesterday, I did 370 for an easy single. I tried 400 but it felt like a ton.
I am hoping to press 400.
Next month is a bench and deadlift meet. I am definetly doing that was well.

Isn't it kind of funny when you lift a weight and add on, oh 30lbs like you did and it feels like a ton! Powerlifting is so different, especially the training. So excited to see how you are gonna so this sat! #arockon6ha#
