First it was great to meet Tim, Keith, and Eric All 3 were great guys. Talking to them back stage helped ease the jitters. Thanks guys for helping calm down inside.
About the show I have no complaints on any of my placings, I was lucky to even place with all of the quality muscle that was there. I took 4th in the open mens novice short class, and given 5th in the 40 and over because there was only 5 of us..lol I will say I was amazed at the condition and size of most of the 40, and 50 guys. I am honored that I was able to stand on a national stage with so many great competitors.
Now for my complaint.. In the open mens novice tall class( I was in the short) the guy who won that class was not worthy of it and was in horrible condition compared to the 2nd and 3rd place winner. Why they gave it to him I don't know but he did not deserve it. Thats it everything else ran smooth and I had a great time. Congrats to Tim, Keith, and Eric, all superior competitors.
