... with a friend of mine from another board. We've been friends/rivals for a long time. To motivate eachother we came up with this competition:

Contest is two parts, lift improvement and conditioning.
Part 1 is the first 3 months. Lifts improvement:
- Week ending Friday Oct. 12 we establish current max weight @ 8 reps for the big 3 lifts, and post on Friday.
- Week ending Friday Jan. 11 we establish our new max weight @ 8 reps for the big 3 lifts, and post on Friday.
- Score is % improvement on total poundage, converted to a number out of ten.
Part 2 the following 4 months. Conditioning:
- No need for before pics. It's a contest for who is better conditioned on Friday, May 9th.
- Winner gets 10 points, board decides on how many points the loser gets based on how close it is.
-Muscularity is important, but because he would kick my ass on muscularity that's not the point of this, so it will be on conditioning - how well our individual muscularity is showing - alone.
-Scoring is by our peers. They judge us both on a private board that we can't access so they can say whatever they want to agree on scores.
Both scores are added and the winner is the one who has the best total score.

The folks here on this board are an endless source of inspiration to me. I thought I'd share what's going on with me. Winning this contest with my friend would be a big deal. Bragging rights are no small thing between us - there's a serious rivalry!
