Well I guess I have to face the facts. Starting Sunday I will once again be a long haul trucker. I lost my local job a week before the show and been scrambling to find something local. I had this long haul job secured the day after I lost the local one, but pushed the start date out as long as possible to find local work. I pick up my truck on Sunday. 14 to 21 days out 2 days home. Did I mention my wife is happy....NOT. I am discouraged over this event due to I had such a great plan for the offseason. I will check into this board as often as I can.

Sorry to hear, Bob. This will be an emotional haul for you and your wife. But you do what you must to earn a living.
We'll keep in touch as best we can. Good luck.

The upside is that you have a job! The benefit of having that Class A license is that it's something that you can always fall back on, case in point being your current situation. I'm sure you'll still be looking for a more permanent job while you can, but in the meantime, just be thankful you've got a job and still have money coming in!
