I haven't told anyone but Eric this, but I wanted to share it because it means so much to me. My oldest son (17) has taken the plunge! I am training him for the teenage West Palm. It was all his idea...no pressure from Dad......but when he asked me to train him I must have lit up like a candle. I spoke with Frank Dalto (promoter) last week and aside from him asking if I would be interested in guest posing as I won the show this year, he told me that I could present my son with his trophy whether he wins or places. If he wins, I will be more excited for him than I ever was for any of the shows I have won. I am going to do everything I possibly can to bring him in at his very best. I can't tell you how proud I am of him.........a teenage boy could find a hell of alot worse to occupy his time with.

I am so happy for you and him Keith. You're right - a teenage boy can get up to all sorts of bad shyte. BB'ing is a discipline that will serve him well in all aspects of his life.

Keith
That is ouststanding! Does/will he be training with you?
Congrats to you and the best of luck to him. With you as his trainer i'm sure he will do well. He will definaltely have an advantage as he will have a trainer that knows the ins and outs of this sport. I believe he calls him DAD!

Wonderful, Keith. You have obviously set a great example for your son as a father and athletic role model.
Training together will be fun. Very proud and happy for you both!

a teenage boy could find a hell of alot worse to occupy his time with. Absolutely. I credit my dad all those years ago for getting me involved in the sport. I got my work ethic from him which has served me well both in and out of the sport. Your son has a great role model, congratulations. Bob

It must be the ideal Daddy and Son activity, isnt?
There is some contest which offers a bodybuilding pairs (including "Dad and Son") category… you should look for it just for the thrill of being on stage with him! I did it with Marie-Eve (even if she is in fact a Fitness athlete) and it has been one of our best contest moment!
