Well I am back up here in the cold weather, I was in the south west for the last 2 weeks. I picked up a load in El Paso taking it to Uxbridge Ma. for monday. I routed myself by the house so I could give my wife a hug. I will be home on friday for 2 days then back at it. I still work out but it is nothing to brag about, my eating is awful. Stay strong everyone I am routing for all of you. Looks like I will be an arm chair BB for awhile

I still work out but it is nothing to brag about, my eating is awful. I know how you feel! Flying J truck stops don't exactly have the best food in the world, neither do all those fat laden cafes you see down south. If you're not on a diet or trying to stay lean, they make for a great bulk season though!!! ;D Just make sure you pre-trip and post-trip right!!! The D.O.T. are S.O.B's when you have a logbook violation!!! Good to hear from you, keep us informed! |

Great speaking with you, Bob. And glad you could post. Trucking is a difficult profession, and it is tough being away from the family, not being able to train and eat properly, etc. Hope it gets better, and stay in touch when you can.

Well I am home now, I didnt come home the day after thanksgiving as planned. They offered me another El Paso load and I took it I can't pass up the easy money. Then from Elpaso i went to Alanta then from there Bethlem Pa., then I dead headed home. Last Sunday I was in Ice in Texas from El paso to Sweetw*ter about 500 miles of white knuckle driving, so much for global warming..lol. I was out close to 5 weeks with a sneak home for a day. I will be home till monday. I could take longer off but with Christmas coming I have to plan my days so I can be home 2 times this month. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, mine will be tommorow and all my kids will be here. I am looking foreward to it.  |
