To those who knew me before and to those whom I haven't met on here yet, it's good to be back. I posted here off and on the past few years and am back and better than ever.
I've come to the point where I realize how important my physical, mental and spiritual health is. I no longer drink, nor do I live unhealthy anymore. I have a new dedication and desire to get in shape, and get stronger.
I'm more responsible than I was.. I work two jobs and am completely independent. The past year has been a great growth process for me as far as spiritually and mentally., now it's time to put that into practice and grow PHYSICALLY!
Good to see Mo, Hoopty, Cuts, Tiffany, and of course Tim still on here. Hope you are all doing well and this time I will be here to stay.
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

Hey guys! Thank you for the warm welcome back. I have been busy working two jobs and trying to be on track as much as possible. I've also started a new potential love interest, so that is exciting to see develop.
Anyways I want to have a solid 3 day a week routine, where I mix it up every month or so, so as to not get stale. New thing I will add this year to my training is:
1.) consistency. I make some gains but stop working out for a few weeks/months and have to start over. I will work out NO MATTER what, unless I need to take a week or two off to rest the CNS and joints.
2.) perfect form lower weight. Doing this and getting the ole muscle/mind connection going to break into new gains.
3.) diet. limit alcohol, and eat lots of calories/protein.
4.) cardio daily (even if it's light, I need to get my heart in shape)., any tips for someone bulking up but still wanting a strong heart?
Here is what I was thinking about
Day 1 squats (20 reps for 1 set); with a warmup of 8 reps before target weight. lunges 4 sets of 8 reps push presses 4 sets of 8 reps (going wider grip to hit the delts better) upright rows 4 sets of 8 reps situps 3 sets of 30 reps
Day 2 decline bench press 5 sets of 5 reps decline dumbbell flyes 4 sets of 8 skullcrushers 4 sets of 8 situps 3 sets of 30 reps
Day 3 deadlifts 4 sets of 5 (i working set, I find 2 can overstress CNS) pullups mix grip up and do as many as possible for 3-4 sets barbell curls 4 sets of 8 reps barbell shrugs 4 sets of 10 reps situps 3 sets of 30
Going to workout every 2-3 days, depending on how I feel. I can't do the Monday, Weds Friday stuff beacause of my crazy work schedule. Let me know what you all think!

No direct hamstring work isn't a great idea. You would definitely benefit by adding one of the exercises like ( Romanian Deads, Goodmornings, Gluteham Raise etc)
Why no calves??
Unless you delts are really a strong part I would definitely add ( some like bent lateral raise or rear delt flys and some lateral raises)
From pure strength point of view I would use Barbell Bench Press for 5 x 5 rather than Declines.
Two decline movements in one workout are a waste of time. I would rather choose to do Incline flys.
Personally in a exercise like skull crushers I would slightly increase my rep range.
Instead of doing only situps all three times you can add.....weighted crunches, reverse crunches and weighted situps. Stress on the quality of the contraction and keep the reps low instead of 30.
Welcome back.

Did my workout yesterday and it felt great! I did what you said Spitz and substituted good mornings instead of doing lunges. I can really feel it in my hamstrings this morning, and lower back. What a great exercise.
Doing cardio daily, but only skipping rope for 10-15 mins, so that shouldn't interfere with size gains.
Just going to ease into the weight and work my way up, while also increasing calorie intake as I make more gains.
