Ok, here's another one for you..... 1. Do you have a WRITTEN Plan for your bodybuilding/powerlifting goals? 2. If so, what elements does it have/how is it set-up? (ie: short term/long term, compete 3 shows, new PR in all lifts) 3. Are you on track? How do you adjust? 4. Do YOU make your plan alone, or do you solicite input from other sources? Does anyone else critique your plan? 5. If you DON'T use a written plan, does that hinder you? Help you? OK, let's hear about it

1. Do you have a WRITTEN Plan for your bodybuilding/powerlifting goals? YES, I always have a plan. I need a map to guideme and remind me of where I'm at.
2. If so, what elements does it have/how is it set-up? (ie: short term/long term, compete 3 shows, new PR in all lifts) Both short and long term goals. It also includes nutrition, motivational quotes, abd susplementation.
3. Are you on track? How do you adjust? I do pretty well, but occasionally get off track. When that happens, I review the plan, and adjust according to where I'm at physically and mentally at the time.
4. Do YOU make your plan alone, or do you solicite input from other sources? Does anyone else critique your plan? I make the plan. I do solicite inout from trainers, my wife, and anyone else who I think knows me well enough to have inout and give an honest critique. But essentially, I make the plan.
5. If you DON'T use a written plan, does that hinder you? Help you? I do use a plan. When I don't have one, I feel like I'm just spinning my wheels. It feels like I'm in "limbo" just going through the motions. I've also gone back and looked at my past plans, and journals to see how far I've come, and where I need to improve.

I do. 2 Long term plans are divided into various short term plans. It includes training, diet, lessons learned, things to improve on, things i need to stress more on, etc etc...... 3 Pretty much on track. If I don't i just remind myself visually what I want to be and what I have aspired to be and what is necessary in order to reach that stage. I am a lot into visualisation. 4 Yes i do. When in doubt there are some guys from the weightlifting/powerlifting/bodybuilding industry outhere whose input is very helpful. Also on boards people like Vince A, Tim, Massive G, Mishko, Chris Jenkins etc are more than helpful in answering all my questions and also critiquing my plan (when needed) 5 My biggest problem in the past has been lack of consistency not direction hence for a person like me it does pay off to have a written plan and it seems to be working.

I keep a journal on my Bodyspace(on bb.com). this keeps track of my goals,training and supplementation. I have chosen to break my bulk down into 2 shorter periods to keep the brain focused on the end goal-in the past too long a bulk period and my mind wanders. I make my training plan for bulking but when it comes to cutting a have a trainer that tells me when to diet,what to eat,and how much cardio to do. I completely trust him 100% I need a basic plan,too precise and I go off track but as long as I keep my goals in the forefront of my mind,I don't need anything too detailed.
