We Just got back from the Ashleys Hope fund raiser at the Knockout Bar and Grill in Parma Hts.Anello Body Fitness Donated 4 $50 Gift certificates to the Fund Raiser.The Donations go to help children stricken with cancer.It felt so good to be a small part of the fund raiser!!!May God Bless Ashley and the others .Glad to be a part of the fund raiser and hope to help in subsequent fund raisers.Ashley and her mother came to our Gym and were really Happy to meet the CEG Betsy who went up to them and Greeted Them.Hopefully even in a small way it lent to brighten and bring a little happiness into their day!!!We often complain about our condition in life until we meet someone like Ashley!!!

That is excellent! It is great to see people helping out children with cancer.  You are right we have to be thankful for our health and not take it for granted. There are always others worse off than we are. I like to see fund raisers for sick children and animals. Thanks for sharing this with us. |

Thank You !!! A couple of years ago I volunteered for a Fund raiser for a girl with Brittle Bone disease
I organized an arm wrestling Tournament.The contestants paid $5 to enter .I organized the tournament by putting the entrants in a box and matching and pulling names at random.Most contestants were in their 30s and 40s.On young wrestler ,in his 20s bragged constantly that he had never been beaten.He said he worked out since High School and was never Beaten.He called himself THE ARM!!!As luck would have it I arbitrarily matched him with an 80 year old entrant!!!He started Laughing and so did his Friends!!!When their turn came he Exclaimed to The Old Gentleman"Hey Pops Give Me $10 and I will take it Easy on you!!!"When I had them lock up I noticed The Old Mans hands were all callosed.When I took my hand away to start ,The Old Man Smashed the kids hand to the table!!!!He stopped laughing but his Friends and the whole place Roared!!!The Old man Exclaimed"Is that what I was Supposed to do?"
