I can't believe the amount of snow that we have gotten since yesterday morning! Looks like about 8 inches and its still coming down! I know thats not alot to you guys that live up north, but this is March in Kentucky! The local weather is saying we could get up to 12 inches! About 4 weeks ago we had tornadoes come though our community and last weekend it got up to 70 degrees. Crazy weather! The old saying around here is if you don't like the weather stick around it will change tomorrow! ;D I didn't go to the gym yesterday, I just figured I'd make it up this morning. Oh well its the weekend and it is pretty out. Besides my son is home and we're having a good visit.

My wife and I spent the morning "digging out" of the house. At LEAST 12 inches of snow, and the winds are causing drifts 3 times that. Oh well, gotta get our cardio in some how! Going to hit the grocery store to stock-up, rent a few movies, and settle in for a cozy weekend! WELCOME TO THE NORTHEAST!

Funny. We have no snowhere in good ol New England. I would figure we would be burried. Supposed to just rain BUCKETS today and be very windy.. I love that saying Joel. It works well here too. I will use it.

The old saying around here is if you don't like the weather stick around it will change tomorrow! ;D Hehe- growing up in nebraska- the saying was: Don't like the weather? Wait a minute, it'll change.Up here in Minnesoat we've actually had little total snow this year, maybe 20 inches. But it's all still on the ground- it's never warmed up. It/s March 8 and it was -2 went I went to the gym this morning. #awtf6mm#

The snow keeps getting worse and worse. Most cities are telling people to stay off the streets and stay home. The city of Akron literally "officially" closed the downtown area city and blocked it with the police. I had to use my truck to push my sons car aff the street and into the garage! Had to dig a "spot" for the dogs to go outside. Almost lost a chihuahua out there! The Lab loves it! The wind has really kicked up, and is causing some major drifitng. We have shovelled out of our door way to have a path to the outside world 4 times today, and now there is another foot out there again! Thre have been NO snow plows on our street yet, and there are cars stuck all over the place. The airport has been closed and the city has issued an emergency snow ban for the streets. I think this is the worst snow storm I can ever remember. Well...all tucked in tight in my "jammies". Filled the house with food. Have lots of movies to watch. Snuggled up here on the couch with my wife..........so.............. LET IT SNOW! ;D Oh....before I call it a night, I did get to the gym yesterday for a light workout. Just so you don't forget what I look like, here's a pic from yesterday warming up pulling a light 405 ;D

Winter of '78 was worse from what I remember. The winds were like 70mph and I remember snow drifts up to the roof of our house.

Wow, I knew all you guys up North were having it worse than us. We just don't get that much snow anymore, we used to back in the 70's. I don't like it!!! I'm definitely a warm weather kind of guy! Oh well it will all be gone in a few days, its supposed to be back up to 60 degrees by the middle of the week.

Your pets are adorable Mr. Beefy! Not too much snow here and it is starting to finally warm up and melt. It has been a long cold winter and hopefully it will be a nice spring.

Sorry to hear, guys. The winter in the NYC/LI area has been better than most. We've had quite a bit of rain, but less than 5" of snow over the last 3 months. Had a couple of cold snaps, but mostly temps have been above freezing.
Rained Friday and Saturday here with gusty winds. If it had been snow, it would have been over a foot.
