Yesterday I went to the doctor's. Having only lifted for several months now I had not been to the doctor since I began lifting. My blood pressure was 110/76 <remember I am a old guy>...my blood pressure hasnt been that low in probably 15-20 years. Everyone was quite amazed. Everything else is pretty much the same so the only thing I can credit is lifting/bb. As they say, the proof is in the pudding !!

Congrats Jim! You`d be surprised at the results I`ve had with clients I trained back in Massachusettes. I had one woman whose cholesterol went down 75 points after starting dieting,training,and cardio. It only get`s better, so keep pumping!! Now that I have my car I`ll send out those parts Monday. I apoligize but I live so far away from town I couldn`t get there to do it. Sorry.

Absolute no prob on the parts... I am appreciative. The blood pressure kind of floored me...I knew I was feeling better but was not expecting anything like that. I happen to be going in for some blood tests next week so will be interested to see what they say

I attribute my condition to training and eating good, as certain periods of my life were just complete and total body abuse.
I truly beleive that I would be dead if I didn`t train somewhat off and on,like I did, during those periods of self-abuse.

Outstanding. Congrats.
I'm hoping for something similar the next time I go in. I've been on 2 BP meds for about a year now.
I've heard of people who improved their lives and could get off the meds - I wouldn't mind at all being one fo those people.

Cool! I went to the sawbone Tuesday and mine was 120/80 as it always is. Seldom changes a lb either way. Just blessed. Going in for blood work in a few days to see what my sludge level is in my blood. Since I'm 53, I'm going to have my test. and psa checked as well.

Being the holiday weekend, My wife and I went to the local Costco <bulk store>. We generally buy enough to load a 8 person van. Anyrate, today after we were in the van and on our way home my wife commented on the fact that my strength had obviously become much more as I had no trouble lifting and hauling cases of merchandise. When I thought about it she was right. So things just keep getting better and better, first my blood pressure and now my overall everyday strength. And all from lifting/bb

Great news! Glad to hear it. I have always had 120/80 any time I have it checked. Lucky I guess. On the strength deal, I noticed Friday when I was cutting down 2 fifty foot honey locust trees (that kept falling on my car) , carrying the wood ( had to carry the chunks about 25 feet, throw them over a 6 foot chain link fence, then go around and carry them another 25 feet and throw them over a 4 foot fence)and stacking it that I didn't get nearly as tired as I would have 6 to 9 months ago. My stamina has increased markedly. I was very happily surprised. I considered that my workout for Friday.
