When should measurements be taken? if one is iclined to? Pre or post workout? Just occurred to me and thought I would ask. Honestly, I haven't measured (not sure I want to know, ha ha) Just kidding. It would be nice to track change. I never get near a scale, just go by the mirror and fit of clothes.

I would say the mirror is numero uno...measurements will be slightly bigger post workout but to many people try to get big nowdays. Big muscles only look cool if they are on a lean physique. I am tryinging to get leaner..personally

Mike, I agree with Cake and yourself, that the mirror is the best indicator of progress.
Your true measurements will be pre-workout, and your pumped measurements will be post workout .
The one thing I don`t like about measuring at times, is for example ,if you have a 16 inch arm, but lose fat, while retaining muscle,the next time you measure it ,the measurement may be down, but you have made progress by losing fat.
Also the same thing could occur if you lose an inch of fat,and gain an inch of muscle.The measurement stays the same, but you will undoubtably look better.

HAHA...I always go with post workout measurements...except after thanksgiving I never measure my waist ;D
