LOL, Swamp. Great list, Tim. And very important never to shop on an empty stomach. You tend to want everything. Shop after eating always best.

Tim:
Ahhhhh, a man that's done his 'shopping' homework without a doubt.. good list Tim.. but I gotta tell ya, and I know your gonna hit me back with this, but I CAN NOT STAND SEAFOOD, no matter how many times i've tried and no matter how many times I've been almost talked into it, I just can't do it! And to top it off i'm half Hawaiian and half Samoan, go figure !! Raised on beef, will always eat beef, but seafood ?? yuk! I don't know exactly what it is either, the flava, the smell, the texture, perhaps a combo of all '3', but I just can't ..LoL!! BUT, on the other hand, throw just about any kinda beef at me and it's animal frenzy feeding time!! I'll go off the friggin' hook for some Tenderloin or NY cut bbq-d (without the sauce, just cooked outdoors on da grill, mmmmmm).. Ok that's enough, gotta run.. just had to add my .02 , and btw, is it commonplace to have a dislike for seafood or am I just like one in a mil. on this subject ?? Cuz a lotta BB'z I talk to are just shocked that I'm not into seafood.. Oh well, gimmee' my beef and there won't be one!! hahahahah.........lata'.

hehe...then you're my opposite...i love sea food...eat them raw or bbq...or baked, steamed, any way you can think... ,the only seafood i never really tried would probably be OYSTERS....man !!! I think Oysters are disgusting..but i haven't tried them. I tried everything from EELS (unagi or dragon roll in sushi), Squid, baby octopus, Salmon, Tuna (ofcourse), Salmon Eggs, sea urchin (threw up), and others...but i was very young so i don't remember them all. Seafood is naturally low in Saturated fat..contains good fats, high protein, and healthy overall.... I love BEEF too...but i'm interested in Bison Meat currently.... I don't know what it is but I love EGGS the best though.

Marques,It took me years to bring myself to try any other kind of seafood other than tuna fish. I still only eat certain fish, and certain seafoods, and refuse to even try others. I could never eat/try some of the things that Max has listed above. I`m more a meat and potatoes kind of guy, but I do like certain types of seafood.

Eel is really tasty....there is a reason they call it DRAGON ROLL...hehe....but watch the sause they use. It is sweet....and they sprinkle it with Seseme seeds. I used to eat alot of it. Eel is good.
Sushi or Japanese dining is probably the best outside dining there is...cause you can tell the sushi bar person what to add or not include...and you actually see what goes into it. If not..order sashimi (raw fish) ...simple as that...and you can get some GREEN TEA as well..hehe.

Tim:
I'm with that meat and potatoes!!.. Reckon it might have something to do with my upbringing and not really being exposed to a lotta seafood (YUK!).. But still, I just can't do it, i've tried and tried and just can't pull myself to eatin' the stuff..
& Maximum6: yeah, definetly opposite, but that's ok, just know that we won't be hit'n any seafood joints anytime soon.. LoL!!

I think fish is the best form of protein there is. Especially Salmon....all amino acids, protein, and fats. Not to mention vitamins some good vitamins and minerals in it. I'm eating salmon everyday now...its mainly my GOOD FAT source. But if opportunity arrises for me..i want to grab a bite of the Grilled EEl.......But i'll leave that at cheat meal..as eel is high in saturated fat....

I've taken interest in beans. I just noticed that i used to eat alot of Black Beans...with some sort of canned fish..that you get at asian markets. Its unhealthy..but i liked the black beans.
I was wondering how come there are only 3 kinds of beans listed.....black , pinto, kidney..what about white? and the others?

cheese is good for bulking, low or non fat, but not for cutting, tim says, and i'm trying it and its good to take out during a cut.
seafood is awesome, i don't like lobster or crab, but love almost everything else, i want to try alot still tho. i'm interested in it. i don't like nori tho, it makes me puke, thats the only thing i have against sushi

I'm going to make a check list out of this for printing out. Do you think you would want to put it on here for people to download and print out?
Thanks Brock
