Since starting Tim's diet he recommened, I've been doing great losing weight. I'm down to 150lbs and for the first time in my LIFE I can see an outline of my abs. In the morning (1st thing) I can see my upper abs, so I am losing some more fat. My strength is improving as well, and I feel great! Also I had sweating problems I think due mainly to having so much bodyfat. Well, now that I'm leaner my sweating has been abated and I am more comfortable and confident!
This is a great feeling. Although I'm not exactly where I want to be, I am just so excited to finally lose the bulk of my fat and finally see my abdominal muscles! This board rules! Thanks especially to Tim!

Way to go bro!! You will continue to get leaner and build more muscle,all it takes is time. Be consistant..... and persistant.

Just don't get discouraged....like i used be.....sometimes even in the morning if you don't see your abs..there are a few things that could be the reason - Lighting Sometimes different angles of the light or sunlight can blur out the things you see on your abs. -Sodium You're holding on to water ..and just drink more water and you should be fine... EGGS, Chicken, and many other things contain Sodium..even your Tuna. -bodyfat You actually gained bodyfat!!! Try pinching your upper abs..thats what i usually do...and thats how i tell if i gained a bit of fat or not. Right now i can BARELY see my abs..partly because i just ate 10 eggwhites..alot of sodium.. Other ways is to sweat it out....of you..sometimes after cardio sessions..you can see your abs better. Or at long distances..your abs in the mirror will look more cut.. i never look at my abs without a mirror..cause i think they look different..I look down ..they look like crap..i look at the mirror..they look like a million bucks. Good luck maintaining....and continue to train!!

Thanks for the encouragment guys. Max, I agree that certain times of the day, and sodium levels can dictate ones appearence of being more cut. I wish I looked how I did every morning first thing.
I think consistency is the hardest thing. There are so many variables that can interfere with getting all the nutrients you need, every 3 hours. I guess if dieting were easy everybody would be walking around w/ a 6 pack.

Well..i used to worry alot..but now i have a trick...only look at your abs in the morning while taking a shower...then the whole day...KEEP YOUR SHIRT ON!!!
Then do it again next morning....That way you can ACTUALLY see changes in your abs. If you look at it all the time through out the day...you'll get discouraged as they usually lose definition from all the eating...water..and such.

Ahhhh my girlfriend is throwing me off. Whenever we go out (quite often) she gets all this great tasting food that is not amenable to my diet. Gotta lay down the law! If not, I'll gain all that weight back in 1 week.

I personally am thinking of where to go for my birthday...even though it is a long time away still. I'm thinking of SEA FOOD restaurants like RED LOBSTER...or some sushi place.and order sashimi...(rawfish without rice). Hmm...got to check what's good at red lobster...haven't ever been there.
