I don't know what it is, maybe it's my depression but my energy is lagging througout the day........my diet is pretty good (26ish hundred cals a day)
should I take a B complex along with my multi?

try eating more carbs.....maybe lower your fat or protein..and up your carb..or is your carb high already?

Brandon,look to your diet,training volume,amount of cardio,days off from the gym,and your sleeping habits.
If any of these are out of whack ,fixing it could be the answer to your problem.

Im going to post what I do on a typical day, if you could critique this please do so......that would help me alot dude.
600 AM WAKE UP! (run on empty stomach monday and friday) eat breakfast (1 cup "dry" of oats with water, and cinnamon and a shake)
800 AM-GYM
900 AM- Post workout shake and 4 servings of honey
930- 1 cup (dry with water) oats, and cinnamon
1200 noon-lunch- tuna, green beans or string beans, or salad
at this time carb intake is minimal......only fibrous
230 PM- shake or snack (low carb)
500 PM- supper, either chicken, steak, tuna, or a mix of something I had earlier for lunch
700 PM- snack or shake
pre bed- shake, peanut butter
I keep it around 2800 cals a day......being 6 foot 3 195 pounds.....my fat caliper says im around 11% bf now
I sleep at the very least 8 hours a night, mostly more....the melatonin helps with that.
I know I take in alot of shakes but I really can't find anything that would be such a high protein food that will last in the house.....
I think the early morning running on an empty stomach might be a contributing factor.After sleeping all night your body is in a negative nitrogen balance and is in a very catabolic state.
ASnything strenuous ythat you do will create further catabolism.
Have a shake as soon as you get up ,then do cardio.
I personally wouldn`t run as I feel it wastes muscle.
Your diet isn`t too bad but you should make every possible effort to take in more solid food as opposed to that many shakes.
Also what do the snacks you listed consist of?

I do cycle my carbs. like on wedsday I probably have under 50 grams of net carbs and the rest are fibrous ones.
wed is my off day
my schedule is
mon: chest, bi's Tue: legs Wed: off Thurs: triceps, shoulders Friday: back
2-3 excercises per body part with a warm up set for the first one of the part and then the 2-3 sets with 4-6 hard reps.......I am in the gym about 40 minutes
I train abs every day, one day doing 50 crunches (declined) the next hanging leg raises.

by the looks of it...why don't u do abs on your back day..its a lot better than doing them everyday. Check out my routine:
day1- back,bicep,calf day2-legs,chest,tricep, abs day3- rest day4- back,bicep,abs day5 rest
day 6 repeat.
But anyway...maybe increase your carbs and see what happens. I mean you're a big man....and you need more carbs. I am just a small kid...carbs don't range too big for my size...but i'm still increasing little by little to see how it effects me. try it.

my energy is still low......could it be me working out in the morning?
I can seriously fall asleep anytime during the day.......it makes my mood wrong and I just feel like sh*t

For me, AM workouts haver the opposite effect, they energize me - even on a bad day.

If so you might want to do it after you workout because it could be affecting your training.
I always do mine after training and since I`ve adopted this scenario I`m making better progress.

Things I've found to help energy:
- solid 8 hours of sleep - 1 cup of coffee in the morning - 2 cups of tea throughout the day - lots of water (at least 1 gallon/day) - make weight sessions short, but intense. - don't eliminate carbs, just have them earlier on - rest well, particularly on the weekends.

tough it out..i feel tired before....but maybe because i eat more veggies now my energy is up!! ;D.
Maybe you should try drinking more water. Dehydration may lead to fatique you know.

I always do mine after training and since I`ve adopted this scenario I`m making better progress. no I stopped cardio all together, cause I've started carb cycling for bulking.......I am 202 now; and I don't feel that I put on much fat....so it seems to be working.
