Just starting out here and learning a lot. Gotta a beginning training routine and will start on Monday.
I have an extra 800 gram bottle of powdered creatine. I used it during an infomercial program that I did early this year. It had an intense aerobic workout, along with a moderate weight training(using dumbells) program. As I have learned on this board intense aerobic activity actually breaks down muscle, so the creatine I bought turned out to be useless. A funny story, the first time I used the creatine, I misread the lable and put in two tablespoons(about 20 grams) instead of the two teaspoons(10 grams)on the instructions. I was running to and sitting on the porcelin god for a day.
The rule of thumb that I read is to take about 5 grams within 1/2 hour after a workout with a high sugar juice(such as grape, no citrus juice). It has been recommended that I do some treadmill work after the workout. Should I drink the creatine drink, before or after the treadmill? Also what about non-workout days

When i use creatine, I will take 5gs a day with a post workout shake which will have simple carb sources (bananas, strawberries w/the sugar syrup or if I have one at home with white rice, chocolate chip cookies ;D, or something with sugar).
