i was studying many restaurants..from IHOP, Applebees, Denny's, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, etc.
And now RED LOBSTER. It is by far the best healthy restaurant i've researched.
For those who are interested here is a list of stuff i suggest you order. They are all from the LIGHTHOUSE MENU just to be safe.
Steamed Live Maine Lobster- 32g protein, 2carb, 1fat= 145cal
Rainbow Trout Half portion-34.75protein, 2 carb, 14g fat=273 cal
Jumbo shrimp co*ktail dinner- 52gprotein, 2 carb,3g fat=243cal
Rock lobster tail- 55.75protein,2 carb,3 fat= 258cal
Snow Crab leg- 55.375 pro, 0 carb, 4.5g fat=262cal
Tilapia half portion- 33g protein, 0carb, 6 fat= 186 cal
King Crab Leg "ADDITION"- 34g protein, 0carb, 3 fat= 163cal
They will serve these with dipping sause, melted butter, etc. Try asking for a lemon wedge instead..or have the co*ktail sause on the side.
Seasoned broccoli is a nice side. Just ask what the seasoning is.
There are also Salmon fillet served that is acceptable in my book..but they only serve KING salmon (high in saturated fat) and Atlantic Salmon (chances are farmraised). So if you're looking for a OMEGA 3 fish to eat..go for the Trout!!...a lean fish? go for the tilapia.
but i personally would go for the Steamed live maine lobster as you can choose the lobster right out of the tank!!
