I was wondering...i checked fitday and nutritiondata.com.
when they say 9inch banana....152grams.....do they mean with the peel or without the peel?

Skin on.
But actually, that's an average bananna. An inch of difference is like... 8-9 calories?
I'm a rigid calorie counter and I count a bananna as 100 calories. If it looks particularly small, I'll eat two and count it as 100.

Hmm American Street Meat....I never knew what was in hot dogs. Say..what is in hot dogs?
I see Turkey Sausages, Buffalo, and even Venison Sausages...but what the heck was in the hot dogs that i used to eat? Pork? ;D

I just checked fitday..with the OZ YIELD button.
What do they mean by oz yield? without peel? with peel?

It means ounces yeild... in other words, put in the number of ounces it weighed.
As I mentioned... without the peeling...

I have another question about measuring these fingers...I usually use a measuring tape...
do i measure the "LARGE CURVE" part or the side part of the banana where it is like a "smile", measuring from tip to end.
For example " U " pretend thats the banana...do i measure the bottom larger curve part from tip to end ...or do i measure it looking like a U on a table..measuring from tip to end without bending the measure tape..instead keeping it straight. Sorry if this is confusing..but i was just curious...

Max: Why not just weigh the banana? and like Troy mentioned, an inch or two likely makes very small difference in calories anyway. twenty calories or so isn't going to make any difference

Yea...i know...each inch of banana is about 4g of carb..and 16 cals difference..wouldn't make much difference OVERALL...but like i said..curiousity ..
Weighing banana..?? I dont' weigh my bananas..hehe..i eat them straight peeled from hand..just like the monkeys.!! ;D

Eeeeeeeewwww ;D BTW, banana measurement would be done like this: take a string, starting at the tip, run the string in the shape of the banana, keeping the string centered, and mark it off where it touches the other tip. Pull the string off, and measure it against a measuring tape. In other words, it's measured as the length of the banana. Chris, that's VERY interesting! So there must be "utility" stores where you buy "lower-grade" bananas for cheaper where they don't meet the requirements? Troy
