I have been looking over protein research recently and have come to the conclusion that Protein Hydrolysates are the "Whey" to go , so to speak lol. The only time I have a "Liquid Meal is: 1. First thing in the morning. 2.Post-Workout
After careful consideration, it seems that Hydrolysates are the best option for me and my research says that 48% Hydrolysis is the best you can get, any more and it will liquify.
Anyone else have anything to add that might help me out, or know of a place with more Hydrolysate research? TY in advance!

Well I don't have much to add, but I do have a question: Do you think that hydrolysis is *that* beneficial? In terms of the cost of purchasing a hydrolyzed protein versus normal protein the cost difference is non-trivial and would soon add up.
I know the argument is that the hydrolyzed protein will have a higher bv, etc. But is there research that shows that this higher bv actually results in a measurable difference in trainees?

Yeah, just doing a little bit of an update since I posted this first off... I have maintained(as best I humanly could) the same diet as last time, only after adding casein hydrolysates, I am up 9lbs, and am getting a little stronger even though I am on low carbs for the 6th week. Just wanted tobring you guys up to date on what(for me) seems to be a kick ass protein ... o'yeah it tastes like baby poop and kerosene blended with lemon juice!!!

Yeah thats Micellar casein bro, I am speaking of Casein Hydrolysates... they are casein micelles that are specificly altered into hydrolysis 48% being the highest physically possible without liquification. they are absolutly nothing like Miccelar casein is... although Micellar casein is a very good protein the two have vastly different pathways in the body!!!

I have been using VP2 for years and it's 100% hydrolyzed whey peptides. The main advantage is the speed of absorbtion.

Yeah ,thats kind of a marketing ploy... I'll give an example: It does contain only hydrolyzed proteins, no other stuff i.e. isolate, caseinate etc.,THING IS the protein itself is not all hydrolyzed because when we hydrolyize @ product some is still intact if it were all hydrolyzed it would be a solute and liquify...NOT ONLY THAT, but it is still @ great protein and works far better than most proteins out there, just they need to state that no protein can be 100% hydrolyzed and still be a whole non-liquified specimen.
